SPOKANE, WA - All is grand at Avista Stadium. The Spokane Indians beat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 3-2 and one lucky Indians fan won $10,000.

It was 10K$B!G(Js for 10K Night presented by Banner Bank and 103.1 KCDA at the ballpark, and the Spokane Indians bullpen did their part. The Indians struck out 13 batters and Indians fan Ward Kaplan took home $10,000.

Leftfielder Matt Bianucci, who just joined the Indians club yesterday, made the most of his first professional start. With the Indians down 1-0 in the bottom of the 2nd, Bianucci hit the ball into left-center field to score Jared Bolden and Matt West to put the Indians up 2-1.

Indians starter Matt Nevarez went four innings, only giving up a hit and a run. Tim Murphy also went four innings, allowing only two hits and picking up the win. Both combined for the Indians 13 strikeouts. Dustin Brader closed out the 9th and picked up his second save on the season.

The Indians return to Avista Stadium tomorrow for the finale of the five game homestand against Salem-Keizer. Tomorrow is Myron Noodleman Night presented by the McVay Brothers, KAYU Fox 28 and 93.7 The Cat.
