In a back and forth affair, Bristol gained the lead for good with a five run sixth inning en route to a 9-6 win over the Burlington Indians.
The Indians had a big night from 3B Jose Ortega who extended his season long hit streak to ten games going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Bristol 2B Michael Swain was 1-for-4 with a three run home run, his third of the season.
Burlington will close its 2004 campaign monday evening with the rubber match of the three game seriers with Bristol. Gametime is set for 7PM.
