The Buccaneers were shutout for the second time this season. Indiana would score twice in the first period and twice in the third; never letting the Buccaneers momentum hit the ice. Indiana was 3 for 5 on the powerplay. Des Moines had 23 shots on goal through three periods of play. Michael Houser stopped 43 of 47 shots on goal in the loss.
The Buccaneers are on the road this weekend, facing off against division rivals Waterloo on Friday night and Indiana on Saturday.
