Indiana Fever News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever (18-14) open the 2015 WNBA Playoffs presented by Boost Mobile next week in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against either the No. 2-seed Chicago Sky (20-12) or the East's No. 1 seed, the New York Liberty (23-9). It is the Fever's WNBA-record 11th consecutive playoff berth and its 12th in 16 years.

The Fever, the No. 3 or No. 4 seed pending this weekend's final regular season games, open on the road at either Chicago next Thursday, Sept. 17; or at New York next Friday, Sept. 18. Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse either Saturday, Sept. 19 (7:00 p.m.) or Sunday, Sept. 20 (1:00 p.m.).

Indiana can clinch the No. 3 seed and a date with No. 2 Chicago, with any combination of two Fever wins or Washington losses this weekend. Should the Fever and the Mystics tie, Washington owns a tiebreaker and would earn the No. 3 seed. The No. 4 seed will face the top-seeded Liberty.
