Florence, KY. - After losing the first two ball games of the series, the Florence Y'alls hosted the Washington Wild Things in the midweek finale of a three-game set.
The WildThings started hot out of the gate in the first. In the top half, Washington plated two on three consecutive hits from Gabe Howell, Nick Ward and a double from Bralin Jackson.

It started with a Taylor Bryant double followed by Luis Pintor, Chad Sedio, Trevor Craport and Harrision DiNicola all singling and scoring three runs in total. Connor Crane followed tallying an RBI as well on a sacrifice fly and Jordan Brower drove a run in on a ground out to first, making it 5-2 after one inning.
The runs continued in the second with Washington plating four more of their own. In the third the Wild Things tacked on, adding two more off of Villalobos. Cody Erickson drove in one with a sacrifice fly. Following that Connor Perry singled in another making it 8 to 5 in favor of Washington.
The Y'alls woke up and piled it on in the fourth, fifth and sixth. Scoring four in the fourth and then two in both the fifth and sixth. Big RBI hits from Luis Pintor and Chad Sedio and an RBI from Trevor Craport helped Florence pull ahead 9-8 after four.
