Illegal Motion Dance Team Tryouts and BC Knights News

Battle Creek Knights News Release


Battle Creek, Michigan-Illegal Motion, a professional independent dance team, is holding auditions for their 2007 dance season. Women must be 18 years of age or older, team-oriented and willing to commit to the team for the season. The team's main commitment for this season is dancing at Battle Creek Knights Professional Basketball home games, held at Kellogg Arena. The dance team may also make special appearances at different events throughout the season. There are limited positions available for the 2007 season.

Anyone interested in trying out can register by emailing illegalmotiondanceteam@yahoo.com or calling 269-209-5892. Tryouts will be held on Friday, November 17th, from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, November 18th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Davenport University in downtown Battle Creek. Those auditioning must be present for both tryout days. There will be an audition fee of $10.

Battle Creek Knights will have an informational table with 2007 regular season schedules available to pick up at the Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce Eye Opener, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Tuesday, November 14th, at the Burnham Brook Center.

If you have a meeting or event that you would like a speaker from the Knights staff or the team mascot, (Sir Jam A Lot), to make an appearance at. Please contact the Knights team offices (McCamly Place) in regard to availability dates and times throughout the year.

Knights team mascot (Sir Jam A Lot) will be in attendance at the following two events during the month of November:

The Battle Creek holiday parade on Saturday, November 18th, in downtown Battle Creek.

The Marshall holiday parade on Monday, November 27th, in Marshall, Michigan.
