
Phoenix Flame sign two players

Phoenix, AZ-The Phoenix Flame have added two players with local ties to their roster. Mike Schwertly and Chris White will join the team for the Flame's inaugural season in the International Basketball League in 2007.
Schwertly, 6'6", is a former Arizona Wildcat, and will play both forward positions for the Flame. Owner Stephen Moss-Kelley describes Schwertly as a 'solid finisher and defender'.
White, 6'8", starred at Brophy College Prep before playing at Eastern Washington University, where he was a first team All-Big Sky performer for the Eagles in 2001.
The Flame kick off their season on Friday, April 6, 2007 against the Las Vegas Stars at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
