Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
The Waterloo Black Hawks bus wouldn't start before their Saturday game against the Indiana Ice; that proved to be the least of their problems on an evening which included a 7-0 shutout loss at Pepsi Coliseum.
After the bus failure sent the team scrambling to their pregame meal, Waterloo did arrive at the rink on time, only to see Indiana score twice in the first, twice in the second, and three times in the third period. Seven different Ice players put the puck in the net, while Cab Morris turned away 28 Waterloo shot.
The Black Hawks will try to pick up a win during their current three-game swing away from Young Arena Friday in Omaha, then return home to host the Lincoln Stars Saturday at 7:05.
