
IF Jake Cronenworth Transferred to AAA Durham; RHP Reece Karalus to Biscuits

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays have announced that IF Jake Cronenworth has been transferred from the Biscuits to AAA Durham.
Cronenworth, 24, was 0-for-his-first-28 with the Biscuits this season, but started for the Bulls on Tuesday night and hit an RBI-single in his first Triple-A at-bat away at Toledo. The former Michigan Wolverine heads to Triple-A for the first time in his career.
The Rays also announced that RHP Reece Karalus has been transferred to the Biscuits from Extended Spring Training. Karalus, 23, spent all of last season with A+ Charlotte where he went 4-1 with a 4.18 ERA in 23 relief appearances.
