
Idaho Acquires Vander Blue

Boise, Idaho, March 10, 2014 - The Idaho Stampede have acquired Vander Blue from the Delaware 87ers as part of a four-team trade that sent the returning player rights of Richard Howell to the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Blue (6-5, 197, Marquette) has played 16 games for the 87ers, averaging 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists over that span. On January 23, he earned a Gatorade Call-Up to the Boston Celtics, appearing in three games. On March 2, the Marquette product scored 47 points in a 113-119 loss to Bakersfield.
Blue has been cleared to play and is expected to wear number 15 for the Stampede when they host the Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday, March 12.
