CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Corpus Christi IceRays, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), will close the 2018-19 regular season at home with "Pack the House for Charity" Fan Appreciation Weekend benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi, presented by AFGE, Advantage Storage, 1st Class Towing, H-E-B, Tukasa Creations and Ruben's Fleet Service. The IceRays face off against the Topeka Pilots on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. Puck drop both nights at American Bank Center is set for 7:05 PM CT.

All tickets (best available) for Fan Appreciation Weekend will be just $5 courtesy of Corpus Christi Downtown Management District. A wide variety of great prizes and fan experiences will be given out at both games, ranging from autographed pucks to a suite for the 2019-20 season.

"The IceRays are very happy to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi," said IceRays Vice President Cassidy Lange. "I love that we have the opportunity to raise money that stays local to help provide a comfortable place for families with children that require medical treatment. This is something very special not only to the entire Lange family but to the IceRays as well."

IceRays players will be wearing special Ronald McDonald House themed jerseys which will be sold via live auction following the Saturday night contest. Proceeds from that auction, as well as a special silent auction held on the American Bank Center Arena concourse during the game, will benefit Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi.

"We are grateful to the IceRays for supporting our families through community fundraisers like 'Pack the House', which make it possible for us to be a home-away-from-home for families who must travel for their child's healthcare needs," said Michelle Horine, CEO for Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi.

$5 tickets for "Pack the House for Charity" Fan Appreciation Weekend are on sale now at the American Bank Center box office, by phone at 361-826-4744, through Ticketmaster outlets, online at goicerays.com and by contacting the IceRays' office.

The IceRays and Pilots are currently separated by just three points in the South Division standings for the fourth-and-final-available playoff spot. These "Pack the House for Charity" games could determine which of the two teams goes to the 2019 Robertson Cup Playoffs. In total, five games remain in the regular season for the IceRays, including a three-in-three this weekend (March 29-31) at the Amarillo Bulls. IceRays games are carried live on Sportsradio Corpus Christi (1230 AM/95.1 FM/96.1 FM), HockeyTV and Mixlr with the pre-game show starting 15 minutes prior to faceoff.
