IceRays Sign Forward Boisclair

September 11, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL) - Corpus Christi IceRays News Release

IceRays General Manager/Senior VP, Pat Dunn announced today the signing of forward Maxime Boisclair. The high scoring right winger will bring offense to the IceRays line-up. The 6'0, 196 lbs Boisclair shared time between the Charlotte Checkers and Ontario Reign of the ECHL last season, scoring 6 goals and 16 assists in 27 games. He also played 19 games in the AHL mostly with the Springfield Falcons. Boisclair made his mark when he scored 70 goals in 70 games with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

"Any player that can score 70 goals in 70 games, doesn't matter at what level, is a good scorer for me" said Pat Dunn, General Manager.

"We look for Maxime to come in and be a power like forward and be a big part of our scoring for us. He has the potential to be one of the top scorers in the league" said Coach Hughes.
