IceHogs, Mallards to clash in two exhibition games

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs General Manager Ryan Washatka announced Monday the teams 2004-05 Training Camp schedule. The agenda is highlighted with two exhibition, pre-season games against the Quad City Mallards at the MARK of the Quad Cities and an inter-squad game that will take place in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Training camp will commence on Monday, October 4 when the Hogs take the ice for a 10:00 a.m. practice. The first practice will be followed immediately by a media session at Riverview Ice House. There are two Media Days scheduled for the 10-day camp. The second media gathering is scheduled for Monday, October 11 following the team's 10:00 a.m. practice. Practice times are subject to change, and are tentatively scheduled to last an hour.

The two pre-season affairs are slated for Saturday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 12. Both games will begin at 7:00 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets for the exhibition contests by calling the MARK Box Office at (309) 764-2000. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for kids 12-and under. The IceHogs will once again host an inter-squad game at Telfer Park in Beloit. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m.

The IceHogs and Mallards will then open the regular season portion of the 2004-05 docket on Friday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. at the Rockford MetroCentre. Individual game tickets are now on sale at the MetroCentre Box Office. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (815) 968-5222 and begin at just $7.
