Niagara IceDogs News Release
St. Catharines, Ontario - The Niagara IceDogs announced today they will be shifting their Sunday, March 1st home game from St. Catharines to the Niagara Falls Memorial Arena. The game will be played against the Ottawa 67's and puck drop will be scheduled for 2pm.
The purpose of the game is to commemorate the Memorial Arena which will be torn down following this season as a result of the construction of the new Bob Gale Complex in Niagara Falls. Constructed in 1950, the arena has played host to 2 OHL clubs (Thunder and Flyers) along with the current Niagara Falls Canucks Jr. B team.
"Much like the Gatorade Garden City Complex, the Niagara Falls Memorial Arena has been a staple in this region for many years now and has housed a number of incredible hockey players and teams" said IceDogs Owner Bill Burke. "We believe this will be a great opportunity to ensure the Memorial Arena receives one last taste of OHL hockey and hopefully we will be able to provide the hockey fans of the Niagara Region with an afternoon filled with nostalgia, excitement and entertaining action."
All IceDogs season ticket holders will receive their tickets for this game as per their normal package. Additional tickets will be available to the general public at the same rate as current IceDogs regular season home games ($18 for premiums, $17 for ends, and $13 for standing). More details will be announced shortly regarding the allocation of season ticket holder seats at the Memorial Arena along with an opening sale date for individual tickets to this game.

They can be purchased at the Pen Centre's Customer Service Desk during regular mall hours, through the IceDogs office at 35 Queen Street in St. Catharines or via all Ticketmaster sales locations.
