Happy game day! Tonight we are taking on the Owen Sound Attack at the Meridian Centre, the only time this season! It's been a long time coming... due to the schedule last year and the league stoppage two years ago, the IceDogs haven't had a matchup with our friends from the north since 2020. It's been 1070 days to be exact.
Your IceDog to watch tonight is Alex Assadourian. Acquired yesterday right before the trade deadline, Alex will be skating in his first game as an IceDog. Last year in his rookie season, the 2005 born forward had 27 points! With new teammates and a change of scenery, Assadourian will look to continue his success here in Niagara.
Tonight you will have the chance to catch top-10 ranked 2023 NHL draft prospect, Colby Barlow of the Owen Sound Attack. Barlow has already notched 25 goals, 21 assists for a total of 46 points in just 33 games so far this season.
