Erie Otters Voted 'Best of Erie' for Ninth-Straight Year

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters Hockey Club rang in the New Year the same way it has for nine-straight years - named Erie Reader's Best of Erie 2022.

Since the conception of the 'Best of Erie' awards in 2014, the Otters have been named "Best Team to Root For" every single year. Nominations, winners, and finalists are all decided by the Erie Community, and announced in the annual special edition print of the Erie Reader magazine.

The Erie Otters also finished as a runner-up for Best Place for a First Date.

Fans interested in seeing other categories and winners can do so online or pick up a copy at Country Fair, Plymouth Tavern, The Brewerie at Union Station, Erie Federal Credit Union, and other Otters' partners.

Assistant General Manager Jaime Cieszynski expressed gratitude to the community for honoring the organization.

"We are humbled to be named 'Best of Erie' again this season. It means even more to know that it's voted on by our fans, partners, and residents of our hometown." said Cieszynski, "Nothing means more to us than wearing "Erie" on our jerseys."

Best Web Developer: Epic Web Studios

Best Locally Made Beer: Lavery Brewing Company (Dulachan)

Best Asian Restaurant:Samurai Kitchen + Sushi

Best Bar: Plymouth Tavern

Best Radio Station: 92.7 Happi

Best Radio Personality: Sammy Stone (92.7 Happi)

Best University: Penn State Behrend

Best Local Entrepreneur(s): Jason & Nicole Lavery of Lavery Brewing Company
