The IceDogs hit the road for an early afternoon tilt against the Steelheads in Mississauga. After a close matchup against Sudbury last night, the 'Dogs will be looking to bring their strong offensive attack, while maintaining support on the backend for Stephen Dhillon, into this all-important game versus the Steelheads.

Mississauga jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but some physical activity by Maksimov seemed to give the ‚¬ËœDogs the boost the needed as the first period progressed. Schaefer and Machala both rungs some good looks off the post, but further review deemed both to not have gone in. The second period showed much of the same as the first. The ‚¬ËœDogs had many good chances, but were unable to capitalize. Stephen Dhillon came up huge with several big saves in the second to maintain the score at 2-0. In the third, Mississauga scored four goals to take the 6-0 lead, but it was Pavel Demin who broke the Steelheads goose egg. Justin Brack and Justin MacPherson.
