
IceDogs Earn Shootout Win in Home Opener

Tonight the Niagara IceDogs took on the Oshawa Generals in their 2021-22 Home Opener.
The first period saw some scoring chances, but remained scoreless.
The Generals open up the scoring in the second period as the IceDogs try to kill their penalty.
1-0 Oshawa after 40 minutes of play.
The second period saw some fast-pace hockey. Niagara got two beautiful goals. One from Uberti and one from Enright. Oshawa was able to return one which forced the OT.
OT did not solve anything and sent the game into a shootout.
The IceDogs were able to take the win in shootout, with goals from Butler, Dionicio and Copeland!
