
IceCats 1st Annual Golf Tournament

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester IceCats Executive VP/COO Kevin Cummings announced today that the âCats will be hosting a golf tournament on Friday, July 16th. The first annual event, which is being presented in conjunction with Wal*Mart and Worcester Firefighters Local 1009, will take place at the Heritage Country Club in Charlton and will benefit the local chapter of the Salvation Army.
IceCats players, coaches and personnel are expected to be on hand for the 9:00 AM scramble start. A steak lunch reception and memorabilia auction will follow the tourney. Reservations for the event are currently being accepted by calling the IceCats at 800-830-CATS or Delmar Sherrill of Wal*Mart's Community Relations department at 508-835-1101.
The IceCats will open the 2004-2005 season at Worcester's Centrum Centre on October 16th. Season ticket packages are on sale now at the IceCats offices, located at 105 Commercial Street in downtown Worcester and by contacting an IceCats ticket representative at 800-830-CATS.
