ST. JOHN'S, NL - Charlie Lindgren recorded his fourth shutout of the season as the St. John's IceCaps topped the Rochester Americans 2-0 on Saturday night at Mile One Centre.

Charles Hudon potted his 23rd goal of the season early in the first to give the IceCaps the lead. Keegan Lowe and Josiah Didier picked up the helpers. Chris Terry added another marker just over five minutes later on the power play off a feed from Nikita Scherbak and Joel Hanley.

Both teams would go scoreless in the last forty minutes. Linus Ullmark stopped 27/29 shots for the Americans while Lindgren turned aside all 25 for the IceCaps.

The IceCaps are back in action next Tuesday and Wednesday (7:30 PM) at Mile One Centre where they'll face the Lehigh Valley Phantoms before a Saturday and Sunday back-to-back 4:00 PM matchup against the Hershey Bears during Family Weekend.
