IceCaps to Lock Horns with Devils in AHL Playoffs

St. John's IceCaps News Release
The St. John's IceCaps will face the Albany Devils in the opening round of the 2014 Calder Cup Eastern Conference Playoffs. The series, which pits the fourth-place IceCaps against the fifth-place Devils, will begin with two games at Times Union Center in Albany, New York on Friday and Saturday. Both games are slated for 8:30 pm. (NT)
The best-of-five series shifts to St. John's for game three on Apr. 30. Games four and five - if necessary - will be played on May 2 and May 3, respectively. All three home games are scheduled for 7:30 pm (NT).
St. John's finished the 2013-14 regular season with a 46-23-2-5 record for 99 points, while Albany sported a 40-23-5-8 record for 93 points. The teams did not meet during the regular season.
