
IceCaps Sign Goalie Yann Danis

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Montreal Canadiens and St. John's IceCaps General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the IceCaps have signed goaltender Yann Danis to a one-year, AHL contract.
Danis, 35, played two games with the NHL's New Jersey Devils last season and 47 with the Devils' AHL affiliate in Albany, NY. The Lafontaine, QC native was undrafted after completing his university hockey career at Brown University in 2004 and signed with the Canadiens organization. In addition to a pair of stints with the Devils, Danis has seen NHL duty with the Canadiens, New York Islanders, Edmonton Oilers and various AHL clubs.
