
IceCaps Re-Assign Jussi Olkinuora to Ontario Reign

The St. John's IceCaps, American Hockey League affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, announced today they have re-assigned goaltender Jussi Olkinuora to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.
Olkinuora, 23, has started one game for the IceCaps this season, a loss on Oct. 12 at Bridgeport. In two seasons as a pro, Olkinuora has played in 12 games with St. John's, going 5-5-1 with a 3.48 goals against average and a .885 save percentage.
Last season with Ontario, Olkinuora went 14-11-1 in 27 games played, sporting a 3.01 goals against average and a .887 save percentage.
The IceCaps host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for Opening Weekend at Mile One Centre this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18 (7:30 p.m. start times).
