ICE Welcome Moose Jaw for Wednesday Night Tilt

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE (7-16-3-1) welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors (12-5-3-1) for the second time this season on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

In addition, Wednesday's game is also the second Rain Check Night of the season, where unused season tickets from October 26 to November 28 can be exchanged at no charge.

The ICE are coming off of a 5-1 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday, November 24, 2018. ICE forward Michael Milne netted his first WHL goal in the game, assisted by Nolan Orzeck and Davis Murray. ICE goaltender Duncan McGovern stopped 51-of-56 shots that came his way. The Raiders received two goals from Noah Gregor while Brett Leason, Ozzy Wiesblatt and Parker Kelly collected the others. The ICE were outshot 56-23. The ICE went 0-for-8 on the power play, 3-for-4 on the penalty kill and won 35-of-77 face-offs.

The ICE have amassed 18 points this season, which is good for sixth in the Central Division and 10th in the Eastern Conference.

The ICE have a home record of 5-10-1-0.

The Moose Jaw Warriors visit the Kootenay ICE for the second time this season on Wednesday, November 28. Wednesday's game begins a four-game Central Division road trip for the Warriors, who will also visit Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary before returning home to face the Medicine Hat Tigers on December 5. The Warriors enter Wednesday's contest on a five-game winning streak. Currently, the Warriors are third in the East Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The Warriors are coming off of a 3-2 overtime victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday, November 24. The Warriors collected goals from Josh Brook, Tristin Langan and Brayden Tracey. Langan, Tracey, Justin Almeida and Jett Woo recorded multi-point games. Goaltender Adam Evanoff stopped 25-of-27 shots he faced. The Warriors outshot the 'Canes 36-27. They went 1-for-3 on the power play, 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and won 40-of-64 face-offs.

The Warriors have collected 28 points this season, which is good for third in the East Division and fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The Warriors have a road record of 5-1-1-0.

HEAD TO HEAD

This is the third meeting of the season between the ICE and the Warriors. The Warriors have collected the victory the previous two meetings. The next time these two teams meet up will be February 24 in Moose Jaw.
