
ICE to Host Moose Jaw Warriors in Round 2 of WHL Playoffs

The Winnipeg ICE will host the Moose Jaw Warriors in the WHL's Eastern Conference Semi Final.
As previously announced, the ICE will host the first two games in the best of seven series at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena starting Friday at 7:05pm. Game Two is a 6:05pm start on Saturday.

During the 2022-23 regular season, the ICE and Warriors split their six game schedule with a 3-3 record.
Ottawa Senators draft pick Zack Ostapchuk led the ICE with eight points (four goals and four assists) in five games versus the Warriors.
Buffalo Sabres draft pick Matthew Savoie had seven points (five goals and two assists) in six games while Zach Benson, an "A" ranked prospect by NHL Central Scouting for the 2023 NHL Draft, had six points (one goal and five assists), also in six games.
New York Rangers draft pick Ryder Korczak led the Warriors with nine points (five goals and four assists) in five games versus Winnipeg.
Forward Brayden Yager, an "A' ranked prospect by NHL Central Scouting for the 2023 NHL Draft, had five goals and two assists for seven points in six games. Seattle Kraken draft pick Jagger Firkus also registered seven points (one goal and six assists).
The ICE and Warriors meet due to Saskatoon's 4-1 victory over the Regina Pats in Game Seven of their first round playoff series tonight.
The other Eastern Conference Semi Final features the Red Deer Rebels versus the Saskatoon Blades.
