ICE to Celebrate Fans and Community in Final Two Games in Cranbrook

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club will be celebrating the fans and the community during its final two games in Cranbrook.

Below are the details of the last two games on Friday, March 15 and Sunday, March 17:

FAN APPRECIATION & AWARDS NIGHT PRESENTED BY ST. EUGENE GOLF RESORT AND CASINO

The Fan Appreciation & Awards Night presented by St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino will take place on Friday, March 15. Puck drop between the ICE and the Medicine Hat Tigers is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

This will be the second last game of the season for the ICE.

As part of the game, a number of fantastic items will be given away to fans.

The grand finale of St. Eugene's Memory Card Match Challenge will take place during the 2nd intermission. One lucky contestant will win a VIP Package for two to WineSpring 2019.

In addition, the recipients of eight team awards will be announced during a pre-game ceremony.

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION GAME PRESENTED BY KTUNAXA NATION COUNCIL

The Community Appreciation Game presented by Ktunaxa Nation Council will take place on Sunday, March 17 when the ICE host the Red Deer Rebels. As with all Family Funday games, puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT.

This will be the final game of the season for the ICE and the last game in Cranbrook.

Community members that have supported the ICE over the last 20 years will be invited onto the ice for a pre-game ceremony. Special presentations will follow for ICE 20-year-olds Jaeger White and Curtis Meger.

A signed Peyton Krebs Camo jersey will be part of a raffle during the game. Fans can purchase three raffle tickets for $5.00 or five for $10.00 (only cash will be accepted). The raffle will end at the third period puck drop. The winning ticket will be announced during the third period and the jersey can be claimed at the ICE tent.

Following the game, all ICE players will take part in a special Autograph Alley presented by Tim Hortons. This is an opportunity for all fans with a ticket to the game to receive autographs from their favourite ICE players. Make sure to bring ICE merchandise to the game if you would like to get it signed.
