February 17, 2020 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Winnipeg Ice News Release

Mikey Milne opens the scoring for the second consecutive game as he took a pass from Isaac Johnson and drove far side tucking it in passed the Tigers' net minder 3:55 into the opening frame. Ryan Chyzowski answered back for the Tigers just as the ICE killed off a minor penalty to even this one up at one a piece. Chyzowski scored his second of the period with 33 seconds left in the first and the Tigers would take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.

The teams would skate to an even second period where the ICE had one power play chance and couldn't capitalize on it.

The top line would strike early in the third for the ICE as Owen Pederson scored just 35 seconds into the final frame on a great passing play from Peyton Krebs and Michal Teply. Under a minute late, Jackson Leppard would score his 20th of the season to give the ICE a 3-2 lead under two minutes into the third period. Isaac Johnson would ice the game as he scored on the empty net with just over a minute to go. Liam Hughes made 37 stops in the win.
