Ice Releases 2011-12 Schedule

Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Ice will begin their 2011-12 quest for the Clark Cup on Saturday, October 1 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as they face the RoughRiders. The Ice return to Indianapolis for their home opener two weeks later against Team USA on Saturday, October 15.
The Ice will compete in a 60 game USHL schedule. The 30 home games consist of 14 Friday, 14 Saturday, and one Sunday and Wednesday game. All home games are slated for 7:05pm starts except for the Sunday game and December 30th game, both slated for 3:05 puck drops. Twenty-eight home contests will be played at Pepsi Coliseum while the New Years' Eve contest against Youngstown and another yet to be determined date will be played at Conseco Fieldhouse. All times, dates, and venues are subject to change.
Other noteworthy games include back to back contests with the defending Clark Cup Champion Dubuque Fighting Saints at Pepsi Coliseum December 9 and 10 in their only trip to the "Circle City." The Ice's annual Boy Scout Night is scheduled for the latter of the two meetings. Members of the military will be honored on Military Appreciation Night slated for Veterans Day, Friday, November 11 against the Green Bay Gamblers. The Ice wrap up their 2011-12 regular season campaign against the Buccaneers of Des Moines on Saturday, April 14.
