ICE Reassign Cumby, Stenvig & Woo

The Winnipeg ICE have reassigned defenseman Ashton Cumby to the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Elite U18 AAA Hockey League, goaltender Noah Stenvig to the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League and defenseman Jonas Woo to the Winnipeg Bruins of the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League.

Cumby, 16, was plus one in a pair of games for the ICE. The 6'5", 207 pound blue liner, from Bonnyville, Alberta, was selected in the fourth round, 80th overall in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

Cumby has 10 points (five goals and five assists) and 76 penalty minutes in 24 games with the Bobcats this season.

Stenvig, 15, backed up starting goaltender Gage Alexander in three games. The 6'3", 161 pound netminder was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 165th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

Stenvig has appeared in eight games this season with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team sporting a 7-0-1 record with a 2.11 goals against average and .896 save percentage.

Woo, 15, was plus two and registered three shots on goal in five games with the ICE. The 5'9", 150 pound blue liner, from Winnipeg, was selected in the first round, 18th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

Woo has 18 points (3 goals and 15 assists) and 26 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Bruins this season.
