ICE Look to Close in On Second-Place Division Finish

FORT COLLINS, CO - The Colorado ICE (4-6) play the Alaska Wild (0-8) this Saturday, June 6th at 7:00 pm (MTN Time) at the Budweiser Events Center. This is the second time the Pacific Division teams will battle this year as the ICE prevailed 38-19 on April 26th in Anchorage.

The Colorado ICE snapped their four-game losing streak with a 60-50 win against the Odessa Roughnecks this past Saturday on the road. The Alaska Wild fell to the Billings Outlaws 73-18 on May 28th. The Wild have struggled to find themselves on the winning side of the scoreboard with a 0-8 record while the ICE are in a battle with the Fairbanks Grizzlies for a second place finish in their Pacific division. The Wild offense is led by receiver Solomon Jones who has hauled in 7 touchdown passes this season. The ICE's RB Eugene Reed is coming off a stellar game against Odessa where he rushed for 91 yards and four touchdowns.

"The Wild are not a team to take lightly," stated ICE head coach Collins Sanders. "They are going to battle us up and down the field. I am pleased with how our team played against Odessa and look forward to this Saturday's contest."

This Saturday's game theme is "Kids Night" with a special ticket offer of all kids tickets at half-price. The game will be broadcast live via the Internet on the B2 network (B2tv.com) and on the radio on Northern Colorado's ESPN affiliate KJMP AM 870. The next ICE game is at home against the El Paso Generals on Saturday, June 13th at 7:00 pm and will be the ICE's last 2009 regular season home game.

The Colorado ICE are members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). All home games are played at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. Single game tickets start at just $15 per seat and include all parking, ticketing, and facility fees.
