GAME PREVIEW: The Winnipeg ICE face the Lethbridge Hurricanes for the second time in three days on Friday, November 1st. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. CT.
Tonight's game will be the second meeting between these two clubs, following a 4-3 shootout win for the ICE over the Hurricanes on October 30th. Austin Schellenberg picked up a goal and an assist for the ICE in the win. Jesse Makaj stopped 31-of-34 shots and all Hurricanes players in the shootout. Winnipeg has now won three home games in a row. With Dino Kambeitz' marker at 18:26 of the third period to tie the game and force overtime, Lethbridge extended their point streak to eight games.
Following tonight's contest, the ICE play host to the Swift Current Broncos on November 2nd. The Broncos have struggled, having won only one game in their last nine outings. The ICE are busy in the month of November, with thirteen scheduled games, tonight being the first. The ICE are rolling on home ice and look to keep that streak alive tonight and Saturday.
