Ice Game Broadcasts to Air Online

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indianapolis Ice has announced it has reached an agreement with Internet sports broadcasting company SportsJuice.com to broadcast live all Indianapolis Ice games that are not carried on the team's radio outlet, ESPN 950.

SportsJuice.com is the single largest source of professional minor league and collegiate sports broadcasts on the Internet, with over 40,000 scheduled games per year. The company has been webcasting minor league, collegiate, scholastic and amateur sports since 1999, and is one of the largest providers of sports webcasting services in the industry.

Fans can access the broadcasts free-of-charge at www.sportsjuice.com . A Windows Media Player is required in order to hear the broadcasts, and is available for free to download at the sportsjuice.com website.

"Quite a few teams throughout minor league hockey are utilizing SportJuice.com," said Ice Director of Broadcasting Jim Mirabello, who will handle the play-by-play duties for the online broadcasts. "We are pleased to be able to provide a means for our fans to follow the team during the games ESPN 950 is unable to carry due to scheduling conflicts."

SportsJuice.com provides live technical support to listeners if difficulty is encountered in hearing the games. Technical support technicians monitor every game broadcast and respond to requests for assistance.

The first Ice game to be aired on SportsJuice.com will be this Friday night, December 5 from Pepsi Coliseum when the Ice hosts the Tulsa Oilers. Coverage begins with the pre-game show at 6:45.
