Pensacola, FL- The Pensacola Ice Flyers are just a few short days away from the start of their second exciting season. The upcoming days are full of exciting events and here are a few of the highlights:
The Pensacola Ice Flyers, along with proud returning sponsor, Seville Quarter, will host their Season Launch Preview Party tomorrow night, October 14th, at 5pm in Apple Annie's at Seville Quarter. Fans will have a chance to pick up their Season Tickets, Parking Passes and Credentials, view and purchase the latest merchandise and meet the players in town for training camp as well as the new Flight Attendants Cheer Squad. The event will end at 7pm, but fans are encouraged to stick around and enjoy the excitement of Seville Quarter!
Later this week, on Saturday, October 16th, the Pensacola Ice Flyers will host the Louisiana IceGators in a home exhibition game at The Hangar. Todd Gordon, Head Coach for the Ice Flyers said, "These games are not only great for my staff in the evaluation of players, but also gives the fans a chance to catch a glimpse of the excitement to come this season." The event is open to the public for free and the puck drops at 3pm.
New York Nicks, Pensacola's premier sports programming complex will be hosting a party on Friday, October 22 to kick off the beginning of the Ice Flyers' regular season. Ice Flyers' fans will practically feel like they're at the game while watching their favorite team play SPHL rivals the Columbus Cottonmouths on New York Nick's 50 inch TV screen. The game will begin at approximately 7:05 p.m. New York Nicks is Pensacola's #1 sports bar and has 40 new HDTV flat screens, 10 big screens, and offers nightly drink specials and a full menu. The Pensacola Ice Flyers' are proud to announce New York Nicks as the exclusive place to watch all Ice Flyers' home and away games, as well as every other exciting SPHL game!
