Ice Flyers Trade for Harris, Bourke

PENSACOLA, Fla.- The Pensacola Ice Flyers have completed a four-player trade with the Evansville Thunderbolts. Ice Flyers head coach Kevin Hasselberg announced today that the team has acquired center Josh Harris and defenseman Brad Bourke in exchange for center Austin McKay and defenseman Stephen Gallo.

Harris is a native of Torrance, Calif., and has appeared in 24 games for Evansville after starting the season with the Peoria Rivermen and playing seven games for the Rivermen. In 31 SPHL games this season, Harris has eight goals, nine assists, and 25 penalty minutes.

Bourke, a native of Onoway, Alberta, is a second-year pro. In 32 games for the Thunderbolts, Bourke had five goals, 13 assists, and 16 penalty minutes. At the time of the trade, he led all Evansville defenseman in scoring with 18 points.

The Ice Flyers will be back in action this weekend with three games in three nights as the team will travel to Macon, Ga. on Friday to face the Macon Mayhem at 6:35 p.m. Central before returning to the Pensacola Bay Center for a 7:05 p.m. tilt against the Mayhem on Saturday and a 4:05 p.m. puck drop against the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs on Sunday. Saturday's game will be Group Night in the Hangar, presented by Orangetheory Fitness, and Sunday will be Hero & Princess Night.
