Ice Flyers fans and ink enthusiasts now have the opportunity to receive a free custom-designed Ice Flyers tattoo. Jim Cooper's "Under Your Skin" Tattoos is offering a free custom-designed tattoo that incorporates the Ice Flyers? logo.

Jim Cooper has been a tattoo artist for over 18 years and is supporting the team by offering the free ink. ?I?m from Detroit originally and a huge hockey fan,? Cooper explained. ?When the Ice Flyers started playing I had to get behind them. The team plays exciting hockey too, so it's easy to support them. Offering free tattoos is a way I can show my support for the Ice Flyers and for hockey in Pensacola.?

The Ice Flyers have seven home games remaining in the regular season and are on track to make the playoffs. Coach Todd Gordon praises the local support for the team: ?Having an artist like Jim Cooper provide a free and very visible way to back the team is great. It will be great to see Ice Flyers tattoos at our games and on the beach.?

The Ice Flyers return to the Pensacola Civic Center on Tuesday, February 23 for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Columbus Cottonmouths. Additionally, the Ice Flyers play the Fayetteville FireAntz on Thursday, February 25 and the Knoxville Ice Bears on Friday, February 26. Both game are at the Civic Center and start at 7:05. Individual tickets can be purchased online via ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Civic Center Box Office, located at 201 East Gregory Street in Pensacola.
