FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Pensacola Ice Flyers end the regular season with a 4-2 win against the FireAntz on Saturday night in Fayetteville.

Just like the night before, it wasn't until late in the second that the Ice Flyers were able to get on the board first as Jon Puskar scored off a pass from Brett Beebe at the 13:10 mark. Just fifty-eight seconds later a shot from Grant Gettinger was redirected in by Nick Lazorko to make it a two-goal game.

With less than two minutes to go in the second, an interference penalty on Zack Josepher game the FireAntz a chance to get in the game. A shot from Mike Baird deflected off the body of Randy Cameron in front of the net and behind Max Strang to pull Fayetteville within one at the end of the period.

Just 2:37 into the third, Pensacola's Jack Callahan scored his first professional goal as he threw the puck on net from a tough angle that deflected off Andrew Flemming and in to retake the two-goal lead.

With less than five minutes remaining, Corey Tamblyn ripped a shot from the top of the circle that beat Max Strang high, stick-side to move Fayetteville back within one again. However at the 17:08 mark, from deep in the corner Brett Beebe found a wide open Puskar between the circles who scored his second goal of the game and the Ice Flyers would go on to win with a final score of 4-2.

Pensacola ends the regular season with a record of 32-18-6 for 70 points and finish ranked third in the SPHL standings with 70 points.
