Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
Pensacola, Fla. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers will be hosting a free agent camp, in coordination with the Mississippi Surge, at the Pensacola Civic Center beginning on Thursday, October 11 and finishing on Saturday, October 13.
40 free agents attended the camp last season and up to five players were selected by each coach to attend the main camps. The same opportunity will be available this season as Gary Graham, Ice Flyers' head coach, and Jeff Bes, Surge's head coach, will round out their main camp rosters with free agents. "This is a great opportunity for aspiring hockey players to gain tremendous exposure in front of two teams and not just one," Graham stated.
One free agent from last season's camp was successful through the Ice Flyers' main camp and signed a pro contract.
Prospects can visit www.PensacolaIceFlyers.com to download the registration package. They can also contact Gary Graham, Ice Flyers' head coach, via email at gary@pensacolaiceflyers.com to receive more information.
