
ICE Cruise over Prince Albert, Set up Clinching Game

The Winnipeg ICE opened up a 4-0 lead after the opening period and never looked back on their way to a 10-1 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders Tuesday night.
Mikey Milne's first WHL playoff hat trick led the way offensively while Zach Benson added a pair of goals to give the ICE a 3-0 lead in the best of seven series.
Owen Pederson, Jakin Smallwood, Conor Geekie, Connor McClennon and Skyler Bruce also found the back of the net.
Winnipeg outshot Prince Albert 36-19. The ICE went 3/5 on the power play while the Raiders were 0/3. The ICE also scored a shorthanded goal.
Daniel Hauser made 18 saves for the win. Tikhon Chaika allowed five goals on 22 shots before being pulled for the second straight game. Max Hildebrand stopped 9 of 14 over the final 29:10.
The series continues tomorrow (Wednesday) night, 8:00 CT at the Art Hauser Centre. (7:30 pregame show on CFRW 1290 AM).
