Swift Current, SK - Brett Davis scored with under five minutes remaining in regulation time to tie the game and Jesse Makaj stopped 40 shots as the ICE defeated the Swift Current Broncos 2-1 in a shootout Tuesday night.

Broncos' forward Ethan Regnier opened the scoring on a breakaway late in the first period and the score would remain 1-0 until the late stages of the final frame. That is when ICE forward Brett Davis would take a pass from Peyton Krebs on the power play and would rip it home to knot the game at one. The game would go into a shootout, where Makaj stopped both shooters he faced to collect his first ever WHL victory. Krebs and Davis would both score in the shootout.
