Ice Bears Sign Former ECHL Defenseman Oke

The Knoxville Ice Bears are happy to announce the signing of Defenseman Nathan Oke.

Oke comes to the Ice Bears from the Bakersfield Condors, after spending the last four years in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League. The 6-foot-2-inch, 21-year-old defenseman from Fenelon Falls, Ontario split last season with the Port Hope Predators and Aurora Tigers, posting 35 points (9g, 26a) and 84 penalty minutes.

Defenseman Nick Fouts has been placed on 30-day IR resulting from an upper body injury.

Ice Bears are at home this weekend; the puck drops at 7:30 Friday and Saturday night, great seats are still available!
