
Ice Bears Fall to Havoc in First of Three Game Series

Knoxville, TN - (January 8, 2015) The Knoxville Ice Bears fell victim to the Huntsville Havoc 4-2 in front of a chilly crowd 2,472.
Huntsville jumped out to an early lead just 4:07 of the first period when Luke Greiner was awarded a goal after it appeared to have rang off the spot where the post and crossbar. The Ice Bears bounced back less than 80 seconds later when newly acquired Jake Johnson scored off a nice wrist shot - Robbie Donahoe and Christian Weidauer assisted on Johnson's first professional goal.
Mark Anthoine put the Havoc back up just one minute later when he scored off the Havoc's third shot of the game. The Ice Bears headed into the locker room down by one after 20 minutes of play.
The second period Knoxville looked to rebound but it was the Havoc who rattled off two more goals to increase their lead to 4-1.
The Ice Bears managed to score the only goal in the final frame but it wasn't until there were 22 seconds remaining the game and Knoxville's fate was all but sealed at 4-2.
