John Schiavo's first pro goal wasn't enough to lift the Macon Mayhme over Knoxville as the visting Ice Bears beat the Mayhem 4-1 Friday night at the Macon Colisuem.

Schiavo scored from Cameron Yarwood, playing in his first game for the Mayhem and Austin Daae at the 3:17 mark of the first period. He was playing in his first game since returning on loan to the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL. But Todd Hosmer scored with three and a half minutes left and John Clewlow with 23 seconds left in the first period to give Knoxville the lead.

Jason Price and Clelow's second goal of the game in the third period locked up the victory for Knoxville, which is now in a three way tie with the Mayhem and Louisiana for seventh place.

The Mayhem will host the Peoria Rivermen in their first visit ever ot Macon on Sunday at 4:30.
