I Hate The Offseason To Return For Second Year

FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies are excited to officially announce the return of their highly acclaimed internet mini series "I Hate the OffSeason." The weekly digital shorts, starring Parker- the best mascot in Minor League Baseball, will premiere next Friday, October 9. "OffSeason Deux," the second season of the popular series, will offer a humorous look into life during the professional baseball offseason and count down towards Opening Day next spring. Two teasers for the upcoming premiere are available to view now on FGTV, the online video archive located at FresnoGrizzlies.com.

After next week's premiere, a new episode of "I Hate the Offseason" will be released every Friday on FresnoGrizzlies.com. Fresno Grizzlies Twitter followers and Facebook friends will receive a special first glance at the videos prior to their release to the general public. In "OffSeason Deux," viewers can expect even more hilarity from Parker and the rest of the Grizzlies staff as they tackle both topical issues and the preparations necessary for Opening Day on April 16, 2010.

"'I Hate the OffSeason' is a great creative outlet that allows us to stay connected with our fans during the fall and winter while reminding folks of the fun and excitement of the Grizzlies Experience," said Scott Carter, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Grizzlies. "We received a tremendous amount of great feedback last offseason and we're excited to raise the bar in 'OffSeason Deux'."

Both the new and original seasons of "I Hate the OffSeason" will be a part of the revamped FGTV portion of the Grizzlies official website. FGTV is an expansive video archive featuring the best in Grizzlies entertainment including highlights of Parker, the world famous Drag Kings, and player highlight reels from game action.
