
Hutchins Placed on IR; Matile Activated

BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that left wing Jeff Hutchins has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve, while goaltender Sean Matile (mah-TEEL) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Hutchins, 25, has netted 20 goals and 36 points in 38 games with Mississippi this season. The 6-foot and 205-pound Hutchins also appeared in two games with Houston of the American Hockey League, collecting two penalty minutes.
Matile, 29, was placed on the 7-day injured reserve on January 11. The 6-foot-4 and 215-pound Matile is 11-2-3 this season with a 2.81 goals against average and .909 save percentage.
The Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star festivities begin tonight with the Skills Competition. Mississippi will be represented by forwards Brent Gauvreau and Steffon Walby. The Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game will be played at 7:30 p.m. CT tomorrow at Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center Sponsored by the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino and hosted by the Peoria Rivermen.
The radio broadcast of the Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game will begin locally at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490. Television coverage is available live to subscribers of NHL Center Ice, the "Official Sports Package of the ECHL," on DIRECTV beginning at 7:30 p.m. The game is also available on the internet through Yahoo! Events at broadcast.com.
The Sea Wolves return to the ice at 7:35 p.m. on Friday against the Augusta Lynx at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotions consist of 2-for-1 military night, courtesy of Keesler Federal Credit Union and Honor Roll Night, sponsored by Cellular South and WXXV Fox 25. The broadcast starts at 7:20 p.m. with the Nextel Pregame Show on ESPN Radio WXBD-AM 1490 and online at msseawolves.com.
