
Husson College, Lumberjacks to Hold Hot Stove

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks and Husson College will present the first John Winkin/ Husson College Hot Stove Dinner on Saturday, January 31 at 12 PM, the Northeast League club announced today.
Keynote speakers will include former Major Leaguer and Winterport native, Mike Bordick, and Lumberjacks manager Kash Beauchamp. Lumberjacks outfielder Edwin Thompson, a Jay, Maine native will also be in attendance.
There will be a silent auction of great sports memorabilia to benefit the Husson College baseball team's spring trip. Tickets are $20 for anyone who would like to attend, and can be obtained by calling 207-973-1036.
"I'm sure it will be a great afternoon of baseball, especially during this cold winter. We are very excited that Mike will be able to join us, and we are glad that we can help the Husson baseball team with their spring trip," stated Lumberjacks General Manager Curt Jacey.

The Lumberjacks begin the 2004 season on the road in New Jersey, and open at home on Thursday, June 3 against the New Jersey Jackals at 6:30 PM at the new John Winkin Baseball Complex on the campus of Husson College in Bangor.
