Duluth Huskies News Release

(Duluth, MN) The relentlessly cold and windy weather didn't faze the visiting Thunder Bay Border Cats on Tuesday, as they took two games from the Huskies, 8-4 in game one and 12-6 in game two.

Game one saw the Cats outhit the Huskies 12 to 6. Trent Chatterton and Austin Christensen each had two hits and an RBI to lead the offense. Cory Copping took the loss on the mound.

The second game was even less kind to the Huskies, as they were out hit 20-9 in the 12-2 route. Keach Ballard continued his hot streak on this home stand, picking up two hits and scoring one run. Brent Urabe also knocked out two hits. Chase Hoag threw 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to finish the game for the Huskies.

The Huskies will get the chance to salvage a win on the last game of the series tomorrow night at 6:35pm for our Bark in the Park promotion.
