Hurricanes to Face Wheat Kings in Second Round

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club's second round match -up is set as they will face the Brandon Wheat Kings and will hold home-ice advantage in the series. The Hurricanes will begin the series with the Wheat Kings this coming Friday, April 6th at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm. The full series schedule is as follows:
Game 1 - Brandon at Lethbridge - Friday, April 6th, 7:00pm
Game 2 - Brandon at Lethbridge - Saturday, April 7th, 7:00pm
Game 3 - Lethbridge at Brandon - Tuesday, April 10th, 7:00pm
Game 4 - Lethbridge at Brandon - Wednesday, April 11th, 7:00pm
*Game 5 - Brandon at Lethbridge - Friday, April 13th, 7:00pm
*Game 6 - Lethbridge at Brandon - Sunday, April 15th, TBD
*Game 7 - Brandon at Lethbridge - Tuesday, April 17th, 7:00pm

Tickets for the second round of the playoffs will go on sale on Monday, April 2nd at 9:00am and can be purchased online, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre.

- 9:00am to 12:00pm
Tuesday-Thursday - 9:00am to 5:00pm
Friday, April 6th - 9:00am to Game Time
The Hurricanes, who ousted the Red Deer Rebels in five games on Saturday with a 6-4 win in Game 5 to advance to Round 2 for the second straight season, will face the Wheat Kings in the post-season for the fourth time in their history. It will be the first time since the 2008 WHL Playoffs. The 'C anes hold an all-time 1-2 record in three series against Brandon.
