Huntsville City Football Club Announces the Signing of Fernando Ciceron

Huntsville, Ala. - Huntsville City Football Club announced today the addition of Haitian defender Fernando Ciceron as the club's first ever summer signing. The 19-year-old will be available for selection come this Sunday, July 16 when Huntsville City FC hosts Toronto FC II at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium. Ciceron, a left-footed center-back, joins Huntsville City FC from Violette AC in Ligue Haïtienne where he made his senior debut this season, starting in four matches in the CONCACAF Champions League. Ciceron starred in Violette's upset victory over Austin FC to advance to the quarterfinals.

At the international level, Ciceron has also captained the Haitian U20 squad, leading them to the knockout stage of the 2022 Concacaf U20 Championship. He was also named to the 2023 Haiti Gold Cup preliminary roster.
