Hunter Garlent Spearheads March Mullet Fundraiser for Team55

(Peterborough, ON)- The Peterborough Petes and Fandango Salon & Spa are excited to announce a March Mullet fundraiser coordinated by Petes forward Hunter Garlent along with his teammate Josh Maguire supporting Team55 Tackles Suicide Awareness and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

March Mullet, "Rock'n mullets for mental health", is a fundraiser designed to generate awareness on the topic of mental health. Hunter and Josh, along with Josh Coyle, Matt Timms, Adam Timleck, and Steve Lorentz, invite the public to Fandango Salon & Spa on 150 Lansdowne St. E. on Wednesday, March 18 from 11am-1pm for the Petes March Mullet kickoff.

Team55 Tackles Suicide Awareness and the CMHA will be in attendance providing information on mental health and suicide awareness, and the players will take photos and sign autographs for donations. Hunter has already raised several hundred dollars for the campaign.

On Wednesday, Fandango owner Tina Johnston and her staff will give the players mullets, and will also donate $2 for every haircut given during the day. To book an appointment, please call (705) 743-9009.

Additionally, Hunter will set up an information booth in the East Lobby Kid Space during the first intermission of Thursday's game against Sudbury, where he will sign autographs and take photos with fans. Donations will be accepted to support the March Mullet campaign.
