GENEVA, IL - Kane County Cougars fans can get their hands on prime seats for the 2010 season as well as enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet this Saturday, November 21 at Elfstrom Stadium as the Cougars will begin selling single-game tickets for the upcoming season. Ticket windows officially open at 8:30 that morning, although fans can arrive at the ballpark as early as 7 a.m. when line numbers will be distributed.
If you're looking to be first in line though, 7 a.m. probably won't get you in front. In past years, passionate fans have regularly arrived at the early hours of the morning to get their hands on Cougars tickets. Geneva's Jay Carroll was officially #1 in line last year, and arrived at 2:30 a.m. in anticipation of securing tickets for high-in-demand dates.
All fans are encouraged to arrive throughout the morning as tickets for each of the 70 regular season home games will go on sale for the first time. A complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 8 a.m. as fans can fill their plate with tasty favorites such as French toast, scrambled eggs, carved baked ham, home fries, bacon and sausage along with fresh fruit, toast, donuts and bagels. Coffee and juice will be available as well.
The Cougars' #1 fan, Ozzie T. Cougar, will be present - mingling with fans and obliging those interested in seeking an autograph or photo opportunity.
Those who are unable to attend the ticket on-sale event can pre-order tickets now online at www.kccougars.com. Pre-orders can also be taken over the phone by calling the Cougars at (630) 232-8811. All pre-orders will be processed on Monday, November 23 in the order they arrived, so that fans attending the ticket on-sale event will have the first opportunity to purchase seats of their choice.
Group tickets for the 2010 season are now on sale as groups of 20 or more people can place their reservations for their outing at Elfstrom Stadium. Cougars ticket office representatives have begun filing group orders for virtually any size and type of group, including businesses, social groups and various organizations. As a result of the recent Elfstrom Stadium renovation, groups can choose one of 20 different catered party areas including private picnic tents, outfield decks, two rooftop party decks, a Super Suite and 15 private suites.
